Guess what kind of character she is?! Did you say physical mid-range tank? If so, you need to uninstall SMITE right away! Isis, the latest sexy female to be added to Hi-Rez Studios’ mythological MOBA doesn’t feature the curvy character art like her in-game sisters, but she can be just as pesky.
The Egyptian Goddess of Motherhood, Magic and Fertility fulfills the niche of a support mage. Isis is a dangerous foe in lane or with allies capable of AoE debuffs, sharing regen or negating damage to allies. Like numerous recent additions, Isis has a special meter for her scepter. Only enabled when she launches her ultimate, the scepter will explode dealing damage and healing allies when triggered.
Isis launches with a unique Queen of the Nile skin alongside a new cross-promotion skin for Global Agenda. Vulcan players, including myself, will want to reach level 30 in Hi-Rez Studios’ original game to unlock Sentry Vulcan. In addition to skins, the developer is retiring the rather pointless notion of levels in SMITE. In its place will be God Worshippers. As players win with each god they will earn points towards God Mastery. A total of 10 levels are in the current system. It is unknown what God Mastery offers at this time.
Hit the jump for the full god reveal of Isis, Goddess of Magic. We’ll have more on her and Fenrir next week as part of the on-going SMITE: Demigods, Deities and Gods Explained column. Continue Reading

Granted, we Hounds haven’t covered Lost Saga all that much. Actually, if memory serves me correct, we haven’t covered the MMO fighter from WeMade Entertainment at all. I’m not quite sure if that’s a shame, oversight, or reasonable, but it doesn’t really matter because the publisher just caught our attention.
Over the weekend the US arm announced the title’s latest patch, which slips dynamic content into the MMO fighter. The “relaunched” beat-em up, in the vain of Dungeon Fighter Online, didn’t reserve a minor patch to rekindle existing user interest. No, no. The patch includes 15 new characters across the gauntlet of history, scifi, and folklore. There’s an additional four maps and much more planned for subsequent patch.
Of real interest is the details behind one of those new characters. WeMade added the first of its planned licensed fighters, Iori Yagami, the star of The King of Fighters and participant of SNK vs. Capcom.
Now in open beta testing, sign up for Lost Saga on the official website. Check out the relaunch trailer and additional media after the cut.

The reveals just keeps coming for Infinite Crisis. Just a scant few days after the reveal of the multitude of Wonder Womens to be made available in the multiverse Turbine Entertainment returns to the universe of Batman to reveal a pair of his leading ladies. Your standard Poison Ivy and Gaslight Catwomen will be joining the roster of the upcoming F2P DC Comics MOBA.
Oh, and let’s not forget that other bit of big news from this week, closed beta! Turbine Entertainment announced that the title will be heading to its closed beta testing phase next Wednesday, May 8. Interested parties (everyone?!) can sign up at the official website.
Poison Ivy is a hybrid character capable of providing dedicated support through healing and speed buffs to allies and debuffs to foes, or a vicious AoE damage dealer capable of keeping target’s within her pain range. The former thief from steampunk Gotham, Gastlight Catwoman is a melee assassin that relies on stealth. She may sound a lot like Nightmare Batman, but the feline friend has her own twist.
Past the cut are the trailers for the two loveliest ladies of the Batman universe. Continue Reading

[Update: Hi-Rez deployed a bug patch today fixing some issues from Wednesday's patch. The new changes are in their own section just after yesterday's bug patch.]
[Update 2: Hi-Rez deployed another bug hot-fix patch today, along with a quick balance change to Fenrir's #2. You can find this section just after Fenrir's abilities]
Hi-Rez Studios felt the need to unleash Ragnarok upon the world, and so Fenrir has appeared to join his father, Loki, on the battlefield.
This god plays very akin to his father, but is substantially tankier than Loki. Build him as a bruiser, akin to Thor or Hercules, and you will have no problem devouring your enemies. He still has some need of being carried, so having a good support such as Ymir with you is a great idea.
After having a chance to play him, and try out all the little nuances such as the broken selection screen after the cut. In addition, you can watch Fenrir bring Ragnarok upon the world in his SMITE God Reveal video, along with the full patch notes, and the text version of his abilities. Continue Reading

Hot on the heels of Turbine Entertainment announcing Helm’s Deep, the latest expansion for Lord of the Rings Online, Perfect World Entertainment unveils further details on Helm’s Hold.
