Lineage 2 is the sequel to NCsofts original Lineage. Lineage 2 features a fully 3D world with top of the line graphics and uses the Unreal 2 engine. Although Lineage II was leaps and bounds better in terms of graphics from its predecessor, it was not so in gameplay and remains one of the lowest rated MMORPGs to date.
As with the original, Lineage 2 offers 5 races to choose from and has PvE and PvP combat. Lineage 2 has come a long way since its release in 2004 and releases free episodes every 6 months or so that continue to Lineage storyline.
