I don't see why it would be considered rude; I mean people write their loved ones birthdays on calenders and such, and that's basically the same, only your calender is based on release dates and is in your head! It's maybe not the best thing to mention in terms of a looking 'cool' perspective, but otherwise in my opinion, you sir, are a genius!
