Colbert's worst nightmare.
For the sake of argument, let’s assume that the Mayan mythical end of the world scenario happens this December. Fast forward 1,000 year, where do you think the world will stand? Will society recreate itself albeit thousands of years behind? Will mankind cease to exist? Will the world?
Cryptozoic’s upcoming game 3012 answers these questions, but it doesn’t look good for us homo homo sapiens. It doesn’t matter if we morphed into the fish-like Gar or degenerated into humanoid Jaguars, there’s little humanity left in the world of 3012, yet a whole lot of brutality.
Matt Hyra describes the basics of Cryptozoic’s latest deck builder to iTZKooPA who gets all caught up in the original spins that 3012 puts on the deck-building genre. Cards reserve, currency exchanges, heroes, allies, experience, PvP and PvE. Count us in.

Being the preeminent symbol of nerdom for nearly 40 years, the Dungeons & Dragons franchise is one of the deepest universes in all of the nerdom. With novels, source books, dozens of video games including Dungeons & Dragons Online and Neverwinter, and hordes of other licensees, the franchise is far from complete.
Marketing Brand Manager Laura Tommervik displayed the full set of just-released and upcoming materials to iTZKooPA recently. To purchase the full table of goodness would be expensive, but there is truly something for everyone, from the Encounters program to lore compendiums to a massive novel by R.A. Salvatore that acts as the third book in the Neverwinter saga. Even more impressive than the breadth of D&D products is the continuity across licensees. Much of what’s available or soon to be available focus on Lolth and her drow army.

The Penny Arcade Expo is a celebration of all things gamer (and nerd). From music to video games to board and card games, there’s something for everyone. That’s as long as you’re one of those people who enjoys FUN.
iTZKooPA trudged over to the Cryptozoic booth to see what the growing analog company had on offer this pass. It didn’t take long before he sucked AnnaMaria into a demo session of The Walking Dead, getting all the details, strategy and gameplay mechanics locked down.
It sounds like he’s preparing to troll his first game by sacrificing to become a zombie to undo the rest of the group. What a jerk!
