Another walk through provided by G4, this time of the upcoming MMO Aion: Tower of Eternity. The video takes you through all the parts of the game, PvP, flight, character creating, PvE, combat, etc. While the game looks great and some of the features they have are pretty cool, like the movement bonuses you can give your character while in combat, the game seems to be your run of the mill MMO. Nothing really stood out to me during the 23 mins in the video that made me want to play this game. Take a look for yourself.

I totally agree with the poster that ABSOLUTELY nothing stood out to me during the video and I was bored (yawning) through all of it . The whole game looks dated, it’s level and class based which is too old school and unpopular nowadays. I would only try this game on a trial basis and NEVER buy it.

Actually, NCsoft isn’t going to “loose”, they’re probably going to win, and win pretty big with Aion. The game already has a huge following in Korea, and the Chinese open beta has recently started. Once it hits America, I see it digging decently into the MMO population. It’s also already got more polish than 95% of the MMOs on the market that have already been released.
And “dated” looking? I had no clue games built on the CryEngine are now “dated”.
