EA Accounces All Points Bulletin at E3

Earlier today at EA’s press conference at E3, they announced a new MMO called All Points Bulletin.  APB is being developed by Realtime Worlds, founded by David Jones, creator of Grand Theft Auto 1&2 and Crackdown.  APB is a sandbox game where the players create the storyline.

Each world will consist of 10,000 players divided into districts of 100 players.  How the districts will work has yet to be announced, whether a player can leave a district isn’t quite clear, but from the press conference it sounded like you would be restricted to a single district.  Although like I said it’s not really clear.

The game will be in 3rd person ala GTA series and players will be given the choice of becoming criminals or enforcers.  Enforcers I don’t think are cops,  I guess you could say there more like vigilantes.   Realtime Worlds also stated that every player will be unique in the fact that no one else will have the same look, which is nice. The point of the game is basically to become famous and do whatever it takes to make it.

Check out the trailer below. Sorry its a bit bigger than the site.

  1. So I guerss the big question is, “Is a district an instance?” Might work a bit like Guild Wars Cities do. If I can Change District’s at any time, easily, then I will enjoy the organization. But I have a major problem with WoW’s 3000 servers. I have ton of friends that play WoW, but every single one plays on a different server.

  2. But”that regiment ghost fog in faintly discernable of phantom, a pair of white huge Zhangs but dead dead hold tight the silver shark demon blade of silver shark bitter end, line breeze motionless, allow a silver shark crazily dance move a silver shark, can not also take back.
