“Harness the powers of mutation to access fantastic new costume sets, bizarre emotes, and the exclusive Secondary Mutation power.” There are a lot of big changes that will occur to CoH.
Mutant Theme Custom Sets – featuring all new pieces of every bit of clothing and armor, new custom weapons and the ability to “tint” your costume with a special glow effect.
Secondary Mutant Powers – “Tap into the incredible potential locked within your DNA. Secondary Mutation allows your character to mutate itself for amazing, unexpected results. Charge into battle with new abilities. Be careful, they may help your foes more than you. There is a chance this power can backfire and turn you into a Rikti monkey. Secondary Mutation is available every 20 minutes and is not affected by recharge buffs.” Some of these effects are: Acute senses, tough skin, pain tolerance, quick reflexes, heightened speed and more.
Character Emotes – Two new emotes will be available, the showoff and growl – fierce!
Added to this, Costume Change Emotes will also factor in. You can activate the following mutant-themed costume change emotes by using the costume change interface in the main menu. You can appear as an Energy Ball, Rapid Boil or Dimensional Shift.
There were also a hefty amount of Power Changes dealing with General Powers, Tasks, Tailors and more.
