Secrets of Radiant Hall, the latest game update for Cabal Online, is going live tomorrow, July 15, 2010. This updates not only adds new content, including the titled Radiant Hall, but brings with it a bounty of other changes. Among those changes are a new daily quest system, that allows players to receive up to six daily quests from a Daily Quest NPC. The rewards for this new content will include experience points, Guild points and the ability to enter Dungeons.
The developers have also made some improvements to the core game, such as changing the user interface to become more user-friendly, adding a matchmaking tool to make finding groups easier, adding in key binding, so players can change their keyboard layout, and a variety of new hairstyle and face choices.
Most importantly, though, is the content. A new solo dungeon and a new raiding dungeon are being added with this content update to Cabal Online. The solo dungeon is set in Bloody Ice, which, as its name suggests, is an icy area. Players can set their difficulty, which affects the strength of the mobs and the quality of the drops. The goal for players in this dungeon is to save a lost and helpless girl. (Why is it always a girl? It seems to be if anyone is going to get lost, it would be a full-grown man.)
The new raiding dungeon continues a previously started storyline involving the Illusion Castle dungeon. Radiant Hall has 9 new boss mobs, a surplus of quests and plenty of loot for the players to gain.
