Today the free-to-play MMORTS, Stronghold Kingdoms, expanded into France by launching a new French World server. Stronghold Kingdoms, which is developed by indie developer Firefly Studios, is a online strategy game based on the single players RTS game series Stronghold.
Stronghold Kingdoms, which reminds me a bit of Lord of the Realms PC series from the mid 90’s, puts players on a gigantic world map that’s based on real world geography. Players start off with a small village that they must build into a kingdom if they wish to rule the surrounding lands.
I played one of the Strongholds back in the day, I think either the original or SH2 and it was pretty good. I might have to check this out if I can pull myself away from Black Prophecy.
