We are about at the halfway point with our SWTOR  giveaway contest sponsored by MMORaid.com, a new social MMO gaming news site, and I just wanted to give you guys a reminder their’s plenty of time left to enter.  One lucky winner will receive a  free copy of Star Wars: The Old Republic Collectors Edition once it is released. You can find the contest rules and details below.

SWTOR Collectors Edition Giveaway Guidelines

  • Go to MMORaid.com to register an account
  • Submit an article, comment or just vote for your favorites posts
  • One lucky member from the Top User list (top 25) will be randomly selected to receive the prize

Details and Rules

  • The winner will be selected on August 27th and announced on MMOCrunch
  • When registering, please use an email address you regularly check as this will be how the winner is contacted.
  • Users abusing the system will be disqualified and or banned.
  • The winner will receive the pre-order code and will receive the actual CE box once it is released.
  • The top two users will not be included in the drawing as they are MMORaid staff.

  1. Hm. Winner aug 27th, beta code givin to winner, then actual hard copy of game in hand on Sept 27th? You’ll have a game to give on the 27th? Can you confirm this?

  2. The game has been pre-ordered and we currently already have the early access code that can be used for the head-start. Once the game is released, the physical game will be shipped directly to the winner, but we cannot guarantee they will have it on the exact day of release. However that shouldn’t cause any problems as the winner will already have the game installed and have access to it.

  3. It sates “on Sept 27th” someone will in fact get a hard copy. This has sent a huge buzz in the SWTOR community. You are the first internet sight that has stated a real date of some sort. I am trying to see how YOU know you MIGHT have a hard copy & why Sept 27th? Whay that date? Where’d that even pop up?

  8. Im not sure, I think I copy/pasted Aug 27th and it some how got changed to Sept. Who knows, I didn’t have my morning coffee yet when I posted it.

  9. I’m sure glad I got my CE several weeks ago before Amazon sold out. :3 Nothing but a bunch of scalpers on there now. Congratulations to the proud owner of the Collector’s Edition at the end of the giveaway! <3

  10. Hi there I keep trying to get onto MMORaid.com but it keeps saying it doesnt exist, however, last night I was able to get on it. Has the website gone down or something because I am so desperate to get that collectors edition my parents wont even let me buy the standard i’ve been checking the website day by day ever since the website was up, dreaming about how fun it would be being that cool jedi with a lightsaber playing with my friends and i’m absolutely gutted I love Star Wars and I feel so left out that all my friends have already pre-ordered it, I told my parents that I’m signing up for this and they say its ok and hope for the best that I win. Please guys, I would be forever greatful if my dream could come true. I’d tell all my friends about how truly generous you guys were and go to sleep every night knowing that a miracle happened on that special day my dream came true as I look at my Darth Malgus Statue on my desk.

  11. Website is working for me now. There’s a 23/23 chance that the result of this competition will make me cry. There’s a 1/23 chance that those tears will be of joy and a 22/23 chance that they will be tears of sadness as my one shot at my dream was ruined. The odds have never been good with me. I hope this one time, they will…

  12. Hi chris I feel really sad that all these other people try to get this for themselves and yet this is your dream. I wont sign up because I want you to win :) Come on guys I think this kid really deserves to get this, if it were my choice I would give it to you if that makes it any better :/
