In a few Tweets today, President of Sony Online Entertainment John Smedley, announced that since the switch to free-to-play, DC Universe Online has increased its revenue by 700% daily. John also mentioned the player base is growing at a pace of 6% daily with the PS3 version edging out the PC version with 53% of the share.
The largest group of new players comes from Europe with the percentage of EU players jumping from 20% total to 50% of the player base. Smedley also reports that 85% of log-ins are from returning players and the most popular store items are currently the Vanguard of the Heavens character skin and the additional character slot.
