Dave “Archangel” Haydysch recently posted a State of the Game announcement for Fallen Earth Online players to give them a huge information update on what changes are being made to both improve the current system and implement new features into the game.
First and most important is the implementation of player requested Minor Respec Injectors. These will be available for purchase from merchants, and in the future can be crafted by players. Injectors are planned to be priced by level bracket, so a respec mishap earlier on will cost less than in later levels. Next was the implementation of player-vs-player (PvP) combat. In a patch scheduled for late July, players will be able to flag themselves for PvP anywhere in game, allowing for fun random skirmishes.
In another addition to the game, players will be introduced to color customization, allowing them to “paint” motorized vehicles. Colors will be player-crafted and rare colors will be drops off of random mobs. Also players who requested more live events will be glad to hear that in the oncoming weeks they will drop hints to what the next event will be and how they can participate.
Dave went on to, among smaller implementations, announce future content that is being developed such as:
- The Hoover Dam
- Salvagers
- Camps – A prelude to player housing
- Factions
- And the return of an old enemy
