Today I stumbled on to an article over at A Casual Stroll to Mordor that talked about a huge project where Minecraft players are trying to reconstruct Middle Earth. The project began last Oct and players have now reconstructed entire areas including the Mines of Moria, Bree, Rivendell, the Shire and more.
Pretty cool concept, now it only needs hobbits :)
