Digital Reality and Twisted Tribe introduces the new Nadirim minion system. No, you won’t be alone in your adventures in the world of Arabian Nights, many loyal pets are available to follow and help you, the minions.
Minions are divided into two types: Companions and Combat Minions. They can be animals, human or mythical creatures, you’ll have many choices, avoiding everyone having the same minion.
Companions will aid you by giving you regular bonuses, such as improved speed or additional inventory slots. Other benefits will be granted as well, depending on which minion you choose.
Combat Minions, otherwise, will the classic ally supporting you in combat, always ready to attack every time you command it.
Nomad and the Caravan Master classes are favored with the ability to capture and train minions from the beginning. The nomads will have a chance to tame a minion at the end of a fight with it, while the caravan masters can convince human mobs to become their allies. Every other class has to wait till high levels to have a minion.
Once you get a minion you start training it. You have a whole minion screen for that, having access to different slots for each minion, their skills, statistics and even a inventory. In time, they will grow and maybe you’ll want to keep one of them as your favorite, having the chance to name it. If you reach the maximum number of minions you can slot and want new ones, you’ll have to either sell some or dismiss them.
Sounds easy, right? We’ll see how the minion system works when the beta launches. For more info, check the Nadirim site.
