Trion has announced another free RIFT weekend, this once starting a day sooner than most at 12:30pm EST tomorrow, Oct 13th and lasting until noon on Monday.
Along with the free weekend, Trion has released an Ashes of History update package for $10 and current players can also snag up the Collectors edition for the same price.
The Ashes of History upgrade includes a personal banker, a spider mount and faction tabards. The Collector’s Edition includes a Tartagon mount, collectors satchel and the Bogling wastrel pet. For new players the Collectors Edition is $39.99 and also included the Rift client and one month of game time.
I think I left off somewhere around level 20 with the last free weekend so I’ll get to pick up where I left off :) See you in Telara.
This is great news. More players and they can see the new goodies in the game. These guys are always adding content without having to pay more.
This garbage needs to just go F2P. Then all the people at WoW on the fence about playing will come over, love it, and wow dies. Perfect F2P strategy,
All of the free trial restrictions apply to the free weekend if you don’t own Rift (level cap of 15, can’t leave starting zones)
