Frogster recently announced the launch of the new zone, Limo Desert, for Runes of Magic. Into that desert, there will be a new dungeon, called Kawak’s Tomb, promising an ancient treasure, surrounded by many challenges to beat. Feel like Indiana Jones? Go for it.
Kawak Grollfang was a hero of the Iron Teeth clan, from the tribe of canine people. During the Great Banishment, Kawak sacrificed himself, luring all his enemies into a trap that got everyone to die. That’s why his people, to honor the glorious act of Kawak, encased his body in a golden sarcophagus and buried it in a pyramid-shaped chamber, so Kawak’s remains would rest forever.
Now, in the depths of the pyramid, there’s a subterranean dungeon, full of mysteries to discover and dangers to face. A descendant of Kawak, General Guzalla Grollfang, patrols the dungeon to protect his ancestor from thieves. The sarcophagus is protected by mechanical guardians, powered by rare magic runes. A giant scarab awaits everyone daring to enter Kawak’s Tomb as well, along with deathly traps and Anubis himself, guarding Kawak’s golden sarcophagus, attacking everyone crossing his path.
