Runes of Magic, by Runewaker Entertainment, recently released a new update to their game. Warnorken Castle is part of the game’s third chapter, The Elder Kingdoms, and features a new six-player dungeon, player’s own active pets and double seated mounts.
The pet system allows players to raise over 100 virtual companions. Players can raise their loyalty to turn them into valuable assets while adventuring in the most remote areas of Taborea.
Another addition with the latest update is, groups of six adventurers can participate in tournaments organized in the “Warnorken Arena” by the evil Baron Reuen von Jura. (Sweet name dude!) This new instance is available for players of level 58 and higher. Added to this, in the Southern Janost Forest, players will also be invited to fight in two new public encounters, a type of group quest in which players can take part in massive fights to reach a common goal.
A final addition to the game are the long awaited two-player mounts. At first, players can choose from four different mounts which allow them to share a ride with one of their friends. Players who own one of these new mounts will be able to offer other toons a lift very easily through a new interface option, accessible by right-clicking on a character. Sounds easy enough to this reporter!
