Game developers and publishers Ntreev USA announced today it is launching its newest update for the popular MMO Trickster Online. The Wedding System gives players the ability to tie the knot in-game to prove their love in just about the nerdiest way imaginable.
Players that are level 30 and above can get hitched by traveling to the Event Garden and talking to Kyu to register. Once registered, the couple can start partying together, receive status updates about their partner and send memos and gifts. All this increases your “love status.” Once your status has reached a certain level, you can officially get married. Players then participate in a series of quests in preparation for the wedding. And you thought actual weddings took a lot of time and energy – at least you don’t have to slay a dragon or escort a princess with your beau or bride to be. Once the quests are complete the couple can pick their title, outfits, rings, reserve a wedding hall and invite friends to the event. After the wedding is over, the couple gets a new ability to teleport anywhere their partner is located – a neat add-on. Added to this, the rings the couple picks out give them further special abilities.
CEO of Ntreev USA had the following to say about Trickster Online’s latest update, stating: “With this new update, players will have the opportunity to use these features to further their game experience as
a couple.”
With the launch of the wedding system, Ntreev is also holding a Wedding Screenshot Forum Event. Players can post screenshots they have taken in one of the wedding halls (Megalo Hall or Caballa Hall) showing all of the friends who joined intheir wedding, and Ntreev will pick the best 5 screenshots. The winners will each be awarded 3 Gacha Coins and an Exclusive Wedding Illustration Poster signed by the game GMs.
