Ding! Lev 40…Finally!

With Warhammer Online being released a little over 3 months ago, tonight I finally hit the level cap.  I know you probably hit it after 2 weeks so good for you, but I needed a bit over 3 months.   From the top image you can see what my character looked like when I was only lev 10 and now at 40, pretty bad ass looking imo, especially that monster shield that is almost as tall as I am.

So now that I finally hit the cap I can start getting into PvP (RvR) much more, currently I’m only rank 22 for renown points which is pretty low considering I’m at lev 40.  I’ve done a few keep seiges, but have really just being doing quests to level, so now that I’m done with that it’s all RvR from hear on out, plus raids and public quests.  I also don’t have any epic items yet, but hopefully that will change soon.

One thing I do want to mention is that Open RvR servers aren’t much different from normal servers.  Yes, you can fight anywhere on open servers, but the problem is that you almost never run into anyone you can fight.  Most maps are seperated pretty clearly between Order and Destruction and while some maps do have areas that overlap, most don’t, in fact on many maps it very diffecult to even get into enemy territory.  So when doing normal quests you very rarely run into the enemy which sort of defeats the whole purpose of open RvR.  However Mythic has been making changes to RvR areas that have been positive over the past month, so I can only see RvR getting better as the game ages.
