The official FFXIV Youtube channel has fresh videos from the Electronic Entertainment Expo with a cinematic trailer and updated gameplay for the upcoming MMO. Its not super exciting, but the trailers confirm the game will be out in 2010, and the cinematics seem to imply somewhat of an over-arching story.

I’m not sure if this really qualifies as an update. The cinematic trailer looked sub-par to other Final Fantasy games, though a bit ahead of most MMOs. There isn’t a lot of new information yet, so stay tuned to find out more.
