LoreFlix: It’s the End of the World!

/yell It’s the end of the world… of Warcraft!

Huh, so World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is being released in less than one month? Well, I guess we better get ready to kill some boars start questing!

While we are all pretty psyched about this new expansion, there’s one thing we should realize. Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are going to change, a lot. The good, ol’ Azeroth where you have spent infinite hours questing, raiding and/or PvPing is going to be molested by one huge dragon on December 7th.

Anyway, let’s get to the point. Yesterday, while checking my YouTube subscriptions, I noticed something quite interesting. Both WorldofFilkcraft and Sharm/Nyhm had uploaded WoW parodies based on The End of World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine) by REM!

If I had to choose one, I’d probably end up choosing WorldofFikcraft’s version. Do not get me wrong, I love Sharm’s voice and Nyhm is simply amazing, but WoF reminded me of lots of things that we will no longer be able to see, plus he gets extra points for mentioning Mankrik’s wife.

You know what? I’ll let you be the judge. Which version do you like the most and why? The second video can be found after the jump.

Sharm/Nyhm’s version:

  1. Hm. Didn’t like that video as much as I thought I would. Nyhm is cool, but I don’t even know this “Sharm” person. (read: I don’t keep track of Nyhm’s newer stuff)

Put simply: decent video, didn’t like the music so much.

  2. Also went and watched the video by worldofflikcraft, and decided I liked that one only slightly less than nyhm’s.

  3. Heh, I like the WorldofFilkCraft quite a bit better, it’s more like the original song.

Though I do like how Nyhm really has a lot of WoW stuff in there, but I mean, it’s like he’s talking it

  4. man you gotta love Nyhm.lol and Sharm, pretty good. tho i do wish that Nyhm would get back with the rest of the other folks from A6(Azerothian 6) and make another vid/song like “Honor Kills”. I prefer Nyhm’s version, alot more comicle
