Halloween is on its way, bringing with it game events galore! It’s one of the most popular holidays for gaming events, and Perfect World Entertainment, Inc is kicking off early with an adventure writing contest for its upcoming D&D MMORPG Neverwinter. Three lucky winners will get Neverwinter gaming swag and beta keys. Or perhaps luck has nothing to do with it as it’s a writing contest…
In true D&D style, this is for the GM – that would be tabletop styled rather than MMO – in all of us. To enter, simply write up a spooky, scary adventure set in or around Neverwinter, then post your adventure in the contest forum thread. All submissions must include everything needed to actually run them, including encounters and map descriptions. The top winner will receive a Neverwinter dragon beanie and a dice bag, two runners up will receive Neverwinter dice bags, and of course, all 3 winners will receive invitations to the closed beta once it begins. Winners will be announced on October 26th. Since it requires everything needed to be run, I wonder if they’ll be incorporating the adventures into the game?
