My favorite zones in games are deserts. I’m not sure why, but that’s always just how it works out. Whether it’s because I like deserts in the real world, or because the general tendency toward game designed deserts appeals to me … I just like desert zones and spend most of my game time in them when I’m not forced into particular zones by quests.
So seeing “Swordsman players will soon be able to venture into the rugged deserts and wild steppes with the launch of Swordsman: Gilded Wasteland on Oct. 23” just makes me giddy. Gilded Wasteland sends the players to the lands of Ping Liang, Tunhuang and the Shadow Mountain Plains, bringing new dungeons, instances, an increased level cap, new equipment, game enhancements and improvements to PvPĀ with such additions as cross server battlefields.
And who doesn’t love a meaty expansion?
