Bioware always treat its games like jewels. The devs polish every game till they get close to perfection and, this publisher, is responsible of many of the best RPG videogames ever. Now, Bioware sails unkown waters, as it’s developing its first MMO: Star Wars: The old Republic, but looks like, once more, the devs want to do a good work.
One of the most important things about an MMO, is the storyline. Usually, MMO developers let us all get a glimpse of the story that structures the game, writing information on the official websites or even publishing some stories, giving “color” to their creations. Of course, we can always access to several trailers, teasers and all kind of hype generating videos but, this time, Bioware has gone further, with the Gnost-Dural Jedi Council records.
For some months now, we all have enjoyed the storyline published, acting as a prequel for SWTOR. It all begun with The Treaty for Coruscant story, and then, a series of videos telling us what we need to know about the galactic timeline, have been released. Rebirth of the Sith Empire is the last of those videos… pure art in motion and enlightening.
The video talks itself, no need to explain anything else. But if you want the whole story so far, you can find it on the Holonet section of the official website. Whether you’re a SWTOR fan or a mere Star Wars fan, it’s worth to watch all the videos and learn of the story foundations for an MMO, maybe called to be a huge succeed.
Rebirth of the Sith Empire is not the end of the Holonet video series, more will come. Till then, the official website of the game is such a good one, so if you’re eager for more information to feed the little “hype-monster” growing inside, you’ll find enough there to read for hours.
