The Winterspring Cub was a snap, so I’m back again — this time with another pet new to WoW Patch 4.1 which takes a bit more work to get. That’s right, I’m talking about the Panther Cub. It’s a reward that’s about a dozen or so quests into a string that explores the rise of the Zandalari trolls.
We’ll zoom through the quests and focus on the end result more than the lore, since that’s what For the Hoard is all about. But definitely pay attention as you go through the lore, too — it will make your next entrance into Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman all the sweeter!
We’ve seen an influx of new pets and mounts to go collect since the release of WoW Patch 4.1 last week, and I’m here to show you how on For the Hoard. We’re starting off the action with something simple but cute — the Winterspring Cub. Hope you enjoy the episode, and keep a lookout for more FTH episodes coming very soon!
I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the beautiful aquatic environments found in one of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm’s new zone, Vashj’ir, and now I have a new mount added to my growing hoard that will guarantee I continue enjoying it (and any other water zones, for that matter currently only usable in Vashj’ir) even more. Blizzard was thoughtful enough to include a new underwater mount for this environment that is not only super cute, but also pretty easy to come by, and very fast to boot.
In this episode of For the Hoard, we’ll take a look at the Subdued Abyssal Seahorse, how to get her (I’ve deemed her to be female. Care to disagree?), and maybe even take her for a spin. Enjoy!
In this episode of For the Hoard, join me as I tear through some brand new World of Warcraft content in Eastern Plaguelands and show you how to get the hottest Somersaulting Worm pet around — Mr. Grubbs.
In this episode of For the Hoard, I’m venturing across Kalimdor, from Orgrimmar to Darkshore while seeking out a new pet that is sure to become a new favorite. Withers the magical growing and shrinking tree is an easy grab for Hordies and takes a bit of questing in Darkshore (a reward from Remembrance of Auberdine) for Allies.
Either way, there’s a lot of new sights to take in along the way, so join me for the fun in this first post-Shattering For the Hoard.
Straight from the Blizzard Pet Store, I take a quick look at the brand new Moonkin Hatchling and Lil’ Ragnaros Pets and add them to the For the Hoard archives. While I haven’t purchased either one (each $10), I found a couple of willing show-offs to help me cast the spotlight on these two uber-cute cuties. And we may even catch a glimpse of the new singing sweetie Sunflower pet… you’ll have to watch to find out!
In this episode of For the Hoard, we visit a self-perpetuating time loop found in Old Hillsbrad that results in some nifty head gear, plus a summoned Coyote Spirit. Do you have what it takes to steal Don Carlos’ Famous Hat and land a spot in his older self’s heart?
