In this episode of For the Hoard, I’m venturing across Kalimdor, from Orgrimmar to Darkshore while seeking out a new pet that is sure to become a new favorite. Withers the magical growing and shrinking tree is an easy grab for Hordies and takes a bit of questing in Darkshore (a reward from Remembrance of Auberdine) for Allies.
Either way, there’s a lot of new sights to take in along the way, so join me for the fun in this first post-Shattering For the Hoard.
It’s been a while since I last posted a comment, but this video really made me miss WoW. The game looks so beautiful and this got me fairly nostalgic, like the Night Elf starting zones usually do. I expect I’ll get back into playing it next year, but I do still worry about how much time I would get to play with the workload that university brings. Plus I’ve been coping without playing fairly well.
The elite looks very scary. I always worry about mobs with 325 hp! =P
Still, the pet is really awesome. Especially for just 30s (though people will still buy on the ah for 30g probably). It’s nice to see blizzard doing stuff with pets other than just having them stand next to you, and it’s one that is fairly accessible to everyone.
