Hey, avid gamers! Good stuff coming from SOE, regarding its upcoming superhero-themed MMO DC Universe Online, as Batman and Gotham has been introduced with a new batch of screenshots for the bat-like hero, and a fly-through video for the city where everything is possible, Gotham.

We all know Batman, and almost everyone knows a bit of his story, at least. He doesn’t need any presentations at all but SOE needs to show him, as he is one of the most important icons in DC Universe. On these new screenshots, we can see him “dancing” with the evil guys, and he “dances” well, doesn’t he? The fight shots look great, as we see him whacking all his enemies, The Joker included. In addition to the awesome Batman pics, SOE has presented a video showcasing Gotham, using a fly-through camera style. The video shows several important and famous places in Gotham, like Arkham Asylum, Ace Chemicals, Crime Alley, Gotham Freight Yards and others. Take note of the gorgeous graphics these urban landscapes takes show, cause when the game launches next year, you’ll be exploring those places. That’s going to be like, wow! Right?
The mystery atmosphere this video show, feels great. Gotham is a dark place, corrupted, tainted… and we are to fight for it, or join the ranks of the evil forces wanting to make it even darker. Who will you be?
