Those of you who have been following the LoreHounds since our time at Project Lore may remember a post I did waaay back in September of last year naming specific suggestions for the /dances the new races should have. Assuming the following videos are accurate, it looks like I may have nailed both Goblin dances, while the jury is still out on the worgen female.
Let’s start with the male goblin. Here’s the original post:

I’ll suggest an alternative: Soulja Boy’s “Superman” dance. The little green Goblins would look fantastic pulling this one off.
Looks like that wish may come true. Take a look.
As a side note, MRYRebirth, who posted the vids, says the off thing jetting out from Mr. Goblin’s pants is a display error (that’s what she said, ZING!).
Now, the Goblin female dance. Once again, called it with Beyonce’s Single Ladies dance.

I haven’t seen too many suggestions yet for either male or female Goblin, so these are mostly my own ideas. Knowing the Goblins’ stereotypical love of commerce and exchange, why not have the females dance to a song demanding a diamond ring? It’s a great dance song with some neat moves, plus it’s already been the inspiration for a WoW spoof song. Know what I’m suggesting yet? Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put A Ring on It).”
And on to the Worgen male.
Again, here’s a look back at my previous thoughts:
I had to start here, because I’ve seen so, so many people begging for the Worgen male to dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Now no matter what you think of the man, I think its undeniable that MJ was a dancing genius. But some may question whether “Thriller” is right for the Worgen. After all, the dancers in the videos are more like zombies, and the only wolf-like creature from the video doesn’t actually do the dance. Plus, Blizzard could not secure the rights to Micael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” for the BlizzCon dance contest, so I wonder if that might inhibit them from any sort of rights required to borrow another of his dances. Regardless, “Thriller” has been performed by inmates and movie stars alike. Perhaps male Worgen are destined to be next up.
Another idea from the forums that I had to include, although I’m not so sure it would work. Perhaps for those of us who like to think of the Worgen as no more than cute puppy dogs.
Perhaps not so accurate on this call, if the following is real:
This dance is apparently taken straight from the likes of Justin Timberlake. And, as one of the YouTube commenters pointed out, would look quite nice while sporting a top hat and cane. Perhaps the Thriller dance would be too cliche, but still I’m still not convinced that I like this one. Maybe it’ll grow on me.
Or, as Heartbourne pointed out to me, maybe there’s a good reason this would look good with a top hat and cane. Is it Puttin’ on the Ritz?
What about the worgen ladies? No videos to be found just yet. Here’s a look back at my previous suggestions, and we’ll probably find out soon what comes of these, too.
Next up, the female Worgen, with another obvious but perhaps fitting suggestion. We still only have a loose guess of what the female version of the Worgen will even look like. But many forum posters are betting that she’d look good performing a dance inspired by Shakira’s “She Wolf.”
While I like this option, I think it’d be fun to incorporate a lesser-known option (at least for those of us not from Asia). In the past, Blizzard has borrowed dances from French artist Alizee and Bhangra singer Daler Mehndi – so why not some Korean pop influence next? Here’s the super-cute Girls’ Generation performing “Gee.”
What are your thoughts on the revealed dances (once again, assuming these are real, which they certainly appear to be). Anyone care to place your bets on the worgen female?
Shakira would have been a really good choice. I still don’t know how she does the Smooth Criminal-esque gravity-defying moves.

These dances are terrible. I don’t like them at all.
The goblin ones are… eh alright I guess. I don’t care for the Worgen dance, I just don’t want them to get Thriller since it should have been the undead male dance if anything. What I REALLY want to see if the Worgen females are being all cutesy… is the Caramell dance. If they did that dance that would make me smile every time I would see it >_<

Definitely Gee, I was just watching that the other day saying to myself that it’d be awesome if they used that for the female worgen.
I like how the dances turned out cept for the Worgen Male, it could do so much better but to those who think that undead males should have Thriller, you don’t look at it from the culture point of view…
One, they are somewhat British, which leads to Rockbands and what not, so they can’t have Thriller, they have Ozzie Oz Born, Metal Head Banging, and also they are undead so death goes with Metalrock and all of those other alternatives, now do you see it???

Shikira is okay but, if you compare how the Worgen Females, the way they move and their actions moves, they move more like how Bad Romance choreography was done. It’s more wolf like/creature if you ask me than Shikira, but that’s just my side of it :D

Unfortunately in beta You got all the dances correct, I do say there cute as hell , But Worgen male , looks kinda like they really didn’t put much thought into it. As for Female Worgen you cant play there class as of yet , so no one knows, But I totally think Shakira should be the dace, Umm Hello She-Wolf , Worgen kinda goes together, and a big Nah-Uh on the Lady Gaga. I wouldnt dance what so ever if that ends up being the case.

I wouldn’t mind having either dances for Worgen Femes for either Lady Gaga or Shakira, but, Dran Femes have Shakira already, and having two dances from the same people doesn’t make any sense since all the other classes have their own dances from one person total. If Worgen Femes did get Shakira, then we have two classes that have dances from Shakira then people will complain why the other races don’t get more. Worgen Femes walk and act more Wolfish than Shakira’s She-Wolf Dance, when compared to Bad Romance, it’s more Wolfish.
The official announced Worgen female dance is Lady Gaga’s Poker Face.

I think what you posted made a great deal of sense. But, what about this?
what if you added a little information? I ain’t suggesting your content is not solid., but what if you added something to possibly get a person’s attention?
I mean Cataclysm Dances REVEALED (Leaked Spoilers + A Little Gloating) is a little
vanilla. You might glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they create article titles to grab viewers to click. You might add a related video or a picture or two to get people interested about everything’ve written.
Just my opinion, it might bring your blog a little bit more interesting.
