MOBA Monday is a weekly showcase of how to perform, eh, let’s go with adequately – we hope – in a massive online battle arena. The streaming squad features the hottest, upcoming or most interesting titles of their and the communities fancy for a few rounds of PvP shenanigans in our weekly Twitch channel staple.
Alright, folks the time is upon us. The first round of the Lore Hound 2015 SMITE Giveaway is here. Thanks to you and others of the SMITE community spreading the word of our gratifying wares we’ve breached not one, but two milestones that’ll be celebrated on tonight’s stream. The first, and easily the most poignant, is that we’re now greenlight to join the masses on YouTube Gaming after having finally coming out of subscriber stagnation to surpass the 500 sub requirement. Thanks for that. And to thank you for that, we’ll be dishing out a quad of Tyr 2015 Convention skins. Some live (to chat or to camera) and some to random YouTube subscribers*.
My biggest concern isn’t the new platform. After all, it can’t be too difficult to stream on YouTube otherwise people wouldn’t have taken to it so easily. No, my major concern is simply my aptitude. I haven’t played SMITE with any regularity since late August. In fact, my most recent dips into the pantheons are the continuing Deities, Demigods & Gods Explained posts that you Lore Hounds eat up so Bacchus like. Outside that, it’s been a scant few games during interesting weekend events.
Partnered with that giveaway will be another social media slam. Twitter broke its first mark, meaning we’ll be dishing out a pair of Kali 2013 Convention skins on that media platform. Yes, folks, keep your peepers awake for our twitters and you may score a Kali tomato! Lastly, don’t forget that there’s plenty more opportunity to win. The giveaway doesn’t conclude until the new year is struck.
As always, if you’re up for it, we’re open to viewer matches! All this and more shall begin around 9:00 PM EST. Hit the jump or head directly to the channel page to watch live. Don’t forget to follow for all the updates and giveaway opportunities.
*The non-live subscribers will have 48 hours to redeem any code before it’s made public to prevent resale and codes being wasted on dead accounts.
