MOBA Monday is a weekly showcase of how to perform, eh, let’s go with adequately – we hope – in a massive online battle arena. The streaming squad features the hottest, upcoming or most interesting titles of their and the communities fancy for a few rounds of PvP shenanigans inour weekly Twitch channel staple.
TOME: Immortal Arena soaked up all of this past friday’s show. A full two plus hours of F2P Friday were dedicated to the closed beta browser-based MOBA. Sure, we had some unexpectedly long queues, but the wait paid off with four giveaways, a string of victories, including an epic comeback and viewer matches. Our let’s play recap of Kixeye’s first MOBA since PAX Prime’s interview was entertaining to say the least, so we’re giving it another go. Not to mention we’ve a ton of Diesel Orlon codes in our hands. That means today will be much the same, if only for the opening half of MOBA Monday for we’ve long-neglected one of the early entries into the genre.
Naturally, I’m referring to the third-person MOBA created by Hi-Rez Studios. That of godly pantheons from across the globe. The one they call SMITE. I’m still farming Worshippers to make a valiant attempt at Arena League play. So little have a focused on the game lately that what could have taken me a few series weeks of grinding has turned into a two season affair. Knowing the community I’ll probably have all the tanks at level two by the time I’ve enough followers to fill a church. Here’s to hoping I can experiment with Sylvanus the magical Keeper of the Wild. Zug, zug.
