The Secret World: Golden Weekend

What’s more fun than playing an MMO? Playing it with friends! If you’ve been enjoying The Secret World, there’s never been a better time than this weekend to put on those recruiting shoes. Gain bonus time for every recruit who purchases the game, or bonus points if you’re a grandmaster like me.  And to welcome all the potential new players, this weekend is a double AP weekend! Even if you’re not up for recruiting, it’s the perfect time to log a few hours to finish filling out your skill wheel, or work on an alt.

Hit the jump for the skinny. Anyone want to be recruited? :)

Golden weekend runs from Friday the 3rd at 3pm CET/6am PDT through Sunday the 5th of May.

Double Ability Points!

  • Earn twice the Ability Points! Each AP earned comes with an extra! This stacks with the bonus from Timed Ability Point boosts from the Item Store, so pick up a few and really stack that AP earning!

Free Membership Months for Recruiting!

  • Get a free month of membership (or $15 of bonus points if you’re a grandmaster) for every new player you recruit this weekend. (To receive this bonus you must invite between now and the end of the Golden Weekend and the recruit must purchase The Secret World within 30 days.) Your recruitment page is available at your Funcom account page.

Great Deal on Funcom Points!

  • During the Golden Weekend you get 30% extra Bonus Points every time you purchase Funcom Points, and any purchase of the game directly from Funcom will come with an extra $15 of bonus points!  Bonus Points are valid for 6 months towards any in-game purchase, so spend, spend, spend!
About Pherephassa 213 Articles
Pherephassa has been creeping around the etherspace long enough to have remorted so often that not even she can recall her original form. She loves sandboxes, challenges, chain mail bikinis and dungeons so large they take weeks, months or even years to fully explore. Currently seeking an MMO home, she can often be found on the side of the road, begging game designers for death penalties and slow leveling curves.
