The upcoming MOBA from MMORPG specialists Turbine Entertainment remains in its closed beta testing phase. The DC Comics-based Infinite Crisis title has seen numerous s witnessed an impressive array of updates in its short life, from new heroes, to multiple maps and user interface tweaks. Despite covering the title since its announcement early this year, PAX Prime 2013 offered Lore Hound its first opportunity at a full length interview.
iTZKooPA & Creative Director Cardell Kerr discuss a wide range of topics in the eight minute chat. The conversation starts with the expected question of what will set Infinite Crisis apart from the increasingly crowded MOBA market. Is it just the IP, is it the maps and game modes or the frenetic and IP-based combat? The topic parlays smoothly into the IP itself, which, as comic buffs will know, shares a name with a massive crossover storyarc from a few years back.
Lore Hound was sure to address the concerns of Dungeons & Dragons Online and Lord of the Rings Online folks, posing the all-important question of how the development of a MOBA could impact the future of the long-running MMORPGs. This and oh so much more in the interview after the cut.
