Trion Worlds has announced a newly signed deal with Ubisoft for the retail distribution of their upcoming MMORPG: Rift Planes of Telara, throughout Europe. Though, curiously countries like Italy, Spain or even the United Kingdom aren’t included in the list of European countries that will benefit from this cooperation between the two companies. France, Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Nordic countries are the lucky ones this time.
Despite all the hype about the global release of this game in early 2011, and the promising path Rift has (the fact that such an important firm as Ubisoft decides to work with them is proof enough of the potential of the game) we can’t but wonder what will happen with those not included in the deal; I can see the gamers from those countries worrying about what will happen or if they’ll be able to put their hands on the Planes of Telara.
