After a successful closed beta, GameFuse has announced the open beta for Renaissance Heroes, their renaissance themed shooter, will begin January 22. To celebrate, there’s a door prize just for signing up before the 22nd, a login sweepstakes, and as an added bonus there won’t be a character wipe for the launch of the live game.
- The Founder’s Package contains several ingame goodies, including an xp bonus and a special costume, and is available to anyone who creates a GameFuse account before January 22nd.
- The Login Sweepstakes has the real prizes: a Razer Blade Gaming Laptop, GeForce GTX 660 Video Card, and several Razer gaming keyboards and mice are up for grabs to anyone who plays at least one match!
Renaissance Heroes is a first person shooter built on the Unreal 3 Engine, with a storyline focused around the hunt for Leonardo da Vinci’s greatest accomplishment, the “da Vinci Machine.” There are 6 playable characters, from Aisha, the dancer and trained crossbow-wielding assassin to the tank Jaque, a resurrected Crusader, each has their own reasons to seek out the da Vinci Machine and destroy anyone who gets in their way. It’s a fast-paced, action-packed shooter in a rich renaissance setting, and if that’s not enough, there’s gaming hardware up for grabs.
