Reality Squared Games will be pushing Broken Realm: A Crystal Saga Chronicle into its beta phase in a scant few hours. Prepped and ready for a 1:00 PM EST launch time, the beta will enable gamers to return to the medieval-fantasy world popularized by the company’s other F2P MMORPG Crystal Saga: Origins.
New to the universe? Broken Realm is a 2.5D MMORPG that leans towards realistic graphics rather than stylized. A high court drama in the likes of A Song of Fire and Ice, players are set in a world torn apart by the death of their beloved Queen Hitomi. It’s up to players to raise the ranks to discover exactly who’s best fit to lead the people of Vidalia.
Broken Realm features four basic classes, barbarian, archer, paladin and mage, that can be specialized to create 12 distinct classes. Battlegrounds, PvP, Treasure Hunts and PvE boss battles are in store for those up to the challenge of a 2.5D browser-based MMORPG.
