I wasn’t planning on participating in any of the Guild Wars 2 beta weekend events, not because I didn’t want to, but because it started at the same time TERA launched. Luckily for me, TERA’s head-start doesn’t start for North American players until tomorrow afternoon, so that gives me today to try out Guild Wars 2.
The GW2 download was a bit bumpy to start of. I got to about 10% when it crashed and I had to start over, only for it to crash again. After some research I found out that there’s a bug for external hard drives that causes a “not enough disk space” error, so after moving the installation to a internal drive, it went off without an hitch. The download just finished a few mins ago, so as soon as I’m done posting this, I’m heading in.
I’ve yet to try the game out, so this is the first time I’ll be experiencing what many have already seen. I’m going to be heading straight for WvsW and I’ll record some action if I find any.
