Ragnarok Arrives With Fenrir, the Unbound, in SMITE Patch 0.1.1490 [Updated to 0.1.1493.3 (Bug Patch)]

[Update: Hi-Rez deployed a bug patch today fixing some issues from Wednesday’s patch. The new changes are in their own section just after yesterday’s bug patch.]

[Update 2: Hi-Rez deployed another bug hot-fix patch today, along with a quick balance change to Fenrir’s #2. You can find this section just after Fenrir’s abilities]

Hi-Rez Studios felt the need to unleash Ragnarok upon the world, and so Fenrir has appeared to join his father, Loki, on the battlefield.

This god plays very akin to his father, but is substantially tankier than Loki. Build him as a bruiser, akin to Thor or Hercules, and you will have no problem devouring your enemies. He still has some need of being carried, so having a good support such as Ymir with you is a great idea.

After having a chance to play him, and try out all the little nuances such as the broken selection screen after the cut. In addition, you can watch Fenrir bring Ragnarok upon the world in his SMITE God Reveal video, along with the full patch notes, and the text version of his abilities.

Regardless, here’s my highlights of today’s patch:

  • Active items now have 3 ranks, with Rank 2 usually being what the item was pre-patch.
  • Motivate & Portal are removed.
  • You can overwrite the “Recommended” tab of the in-match store with your saved build on the “Character Builder” screen on the “Guides” tab.
  • Your last used skin for a god is saved, and selected by default the next time you select that god.
  • Spectating is now publicly open!
  • Voice packs were added (see patch notes).
  • Kali received a nerf, taking her back to where she was 2-3 patches ago.

Fenrir

Unbound Runes (PASSIVE): Fenrir gains efficiency as he attacks. Every hit from a basic attack activates 1 rune, up to a max of 5. Each of Fenrir’s abilities gain an additional benefit when used at maximum runes and the runes are consumed. Enemy gods that die near Fenrir will fully activate all his runes.

Unchained: Fenrir leaps forward, dealing damage to all enemies when he lands. At full runes, the leap stuns the enemies hit. If the leap hits a god, the cooldown is halved.

  • Damage: 95/155/215/275/335 (+80% of your physical power).
  • Stun: 1 second.
  • Cost: 65/70/75/80/85 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 15 seconds.

Seething Howl: Fenrir rears back and howls, inspiring himself with a physical power and lifesteal buff. At full runes, the buff is increased by 50%.

  • Physical Power: 10/20/30/40/50.
  • Physical Lifesteal: 5/10/15/20/25%.
  • Buff Duration: 6 seconds.
  • Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 13 seconds.

Brutalize: Fenrir pounces to his ground target location. If there was an enemy in the radius, he strikes them 4 times, dealing additional damage with each strike while being immune to knockups. At full runes, each strike deals 75% damage to nearby enemies.

  • Damage: 10/20/30/40/50 (+30% of your physical power).
  • Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 14 seconds.

Ragnarok: When Ragnarok arrives, Fenrir grows massive in size, becoming immune to crowd control while moving faster. Fenrir bites enemy gods, dealing physical damage and carrying them away. Biting a cc immune target deals the damage but ends his ultimate. At full runes, his protections double.

  • Damage: 150/225/300/375/450 (+120% of your physical power).
  • Movement Speed: 50%.
  • Carry Duration: 2 seconds.
  • Cost: 100 Mana.
  • Cooldown: 90 seconds.

Once purchased, the voice pack is always used for that god, regardless of skin choice (in the future, some epic skins may overwrite the standard skin choice). All team members will be able to hear the voice pack when you use Voice Commands.

  • Your choice of “Casting Type” in SETTINGS is now stored in the database against your account, so it should follow you between different PCs.
  • Fixed an issue where Cyclops were not playing a death sound when ragdolled on death.

  1. The same science of reasoning holds authentic for Breitling Duplicate watches as well. The original models are exorbitantly priced; and so, there is more than great|extended|spacious|ample} require as well as availability of cheaper replicas of the same. The area of traffic entrep??t|market} for cheap autograph copy watches is therefore quite light.
